Space is limited for the weekend event. To best serve our guests and ensure that they are able to enjoy every aspect of the ride, we require non-refundable advance ticket reservations for admission.
Ticket reservations may be purchased online at www.ManchesterLionsElfTrain.com. Ticket forms will be available at several locations in Manchester.
After purchasing your ticket reservations online, you will receive email confirmation. Our friendly working elves will be on hand for your ticket pickup the day of the event at the ELF booth. Just give us your name and scheduled time and we will have those tickets ready! We suggest picking them up at least 45 minutes before boarding.
There are no refunds or exchanges. We recommend that you verify your dates with family and friends before purchasing your tickets. Tickets are only valid for the event date and time for which they were issued.
This event is rain or shine! We do everything in our power to remain open for all event dates. The Elf Express Train does not close for winter weather and does not give refunds or exchanges to those who are unable to attend their scheduled ride due to weather conditions.
No, you do not need to purchase a ticket for a child under the age of 2. They will only be allowed to sit on your lap.
Plan to get to r.k. Miles Depot station 1 hour before boarding to allow for parking (free) and secure your tickets. There will be attendants to help you find parking and walk to the train. You will board the train 10 minutes before your scheduled time. There is no indoor waiting room at this station, so we encourage you to dress warmly.
Manchester is located in the southern part of Vermont. Signs will lead you to r.k. Miles Depot, 670 Depot, Manchester, VT 05254.
Yes, there will be refreshments and treats for sale.
Only you can make a decision as to what your child can and cannot eat. If your child has allergies, we suggest you bring your own snack.
The area has many wonderful restaurants, a myriad of shopping for every age & budget and magnificent recreational opportunities such as skiing and hiking.
Manchester offers a variety of wonderful hotels, bed and breakfasts and other lodging, including many with weekend packages for this special event. Please click on our lodging/meal button for recommendations.
There will be portable toilets. (There are no bathrooms on the train, so please use the portable toilets before boarding.)
Check the weather forecast, but Vermont winters call for you to dress warmly and wear boots. The trains are heated, so we suggest you dress in layers.
We are sorry, but the cars are not ADA accessible, there is no wheelchair lift and strollers cannot be accommodated. Please email at LionsElfExpress@gmail.com for more information to see if we can accommodate you. Seeing Eye dogs are welcomed, but personal pets are not allowed.
Yes, we encourage you to take photos with all of them before and after the trip. There will be many photo opportunities that you won’t want to miss!
